Every second Monday in September, Memorial's premiere golf tournament at Apple Tree Resort has helped to raise thousands of dollars for children's health programs at Memorial Hospital and Children's Village. The Golf To Give Classic welcomes golfers of all levels and invites you to join us. Online registration is now available for morning and afternoon flights. A true champion of kids, Ruth Dolsen has been just that for our Valley's children. For many years, the Dolsen family has believed in the mission of Memorial Hospital. Through gifts of time and resources, Ruth helped to fund the recent expansion of Children's Village and also with a generous gift to fund a new ventilator for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Ruth has always believed that children come first, and for that we are ever grateful. |

We were deeply saddened by the untimely death of dedicated board trustee Mark Cox. Mark joined The Memorial Foundation Board four years ago and was instrumental in forming the Foundation's YouthWorks Council, mentoring and guiding the Council in its early years. Mark was a community-spirited friend of The Memorial Foundation and will be dearly missed. |

Youth volunteers from Memorial Hospital, high school pageants and Children's Village are encouraged to complete an application to become a member of the council. Application deadline is August 31, 2011. |
